Many countries have virtually no public school system, and families cannot afford the fees to send their children to private school. In many cases, students are unable to achieve further levels of education following primary school. SIM is deeply committed to creating change by offering much needed educational opportunities. This is done through building schools, training teachers, paying for school materials and fees, granting scholarships, and providing secondary and university level educational opportunities.
