Around the world, developing countries suffer from skyrocketing unemployment rates that reach as high as 90%, while those that do have jobs often earn less than $1 a day.  In conditions like these healthcare is essentially non-existant.

And, without access to adequate food, proper nutrition, clean water, or medicine, there are not enough defenses to keep thousands of people from dying of curable ailments.  SIM sends doctors, nurses, surgeons, and missionary workers to the most devastated and vulnerable of places in order to provide quality healthcare while sharing the love of Christ.
