Jim and Shari Ardill

Southwest Regional Directors

(Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada)

Jim and Shari, Emily and Luke, have been with SIM in Liberia (’88-‘90) and Ethiopia (‘91-‘02).  Some of our ministries in Africa included MK education, Bible studies, discipleship, community development, relief and refugee church strengthening ministry.  Shari has training in Christian Education and Personnel Management.  Jim has training in Bible/Theology, International Agriculture and Organizational Management.

Emily, a nursing graduate from BIOLA University, is an officer in the Air Force.  Luke, also a BIOLA graduate, is pursuing a career as a Physician’s Assistant.  

As of May 2004, we became Regional Directors for the Southwestern states of AZ, CA HI and NV.  We are excited about this ministry of creating vision and motivating churches and students to a Great Commission lifestyle.  This involves traveling to churches/ schools regularly, communicating with and preparing people interested in long and short term opportunities and encouraging SIM’ers from the SW region through prayer and personal visits, along with the needed administrative work including correspondence and several SIM databases.

• “What is your church’s DNA?”  [Matching gifts to Great Commission plans]
