The SIM School Team Coordinator will work closely with your team leader in organizing your school team in preparation for service on the field.
Once the team leader has communicated with the SIM team coordinator an initial team leader preliminary information form will be completed by the team leader and soon after that, a Pre-Acceptance Cost Estimate for your team’s trip will be sent to you.
The Pre-Acceptance Cost Estimate will include the estimated amount of support you will need to raise for your ministry on the field.
The team leader will be responsible for Recruiting and screening potential team members in light of the field assignment.
The team leader will also be responsible for conducting the teams pre-field orientation with assistance, if needed, from our SIM staff.

As we prepare to serve your team, we endeavor to determine what resources we have at SIM USA that may be of benefit to you and your team. Some schools may choose to make their own flight arrangements in lieu of using our SIM USA Travel Department. It is mandatory that each team member have a minimum of $100,000.00 in traveler’s insurance coverage for medical/health coverage, evacuation, and repatriation of physical remains. Our office is able to arrange that coverage very economically, if you desire.
